GOOD Staking 2.0

On Wednesday 20 December 2023 we launched an updated application for staking GOOD tokens. This update brings significant changes, which we describe further in this article.

Why Staking 2.0?

We strive to continuously improve the services of our platform and make it as easy as possible for our supporters to interact with the GOOD Marketplace. With Staking 2.0 you can become a member of the GOOD VIP Club very easily in just a few steps.

What is new in Staking 2.0

• Flexible staking pool
• Claiming VIP Club membership NFT

IMPORTANT:
In order to continue earning ETH rewards for staking your GOOD tokens, you need to migrate to the new Staking 2.0 service as soon as possible.

Migrate to Staking 2.0

First things first. In order to start using Staking 2.0, you first need to migrate your staked GOOD tokens from the current version. The migration is very simple and can be done in two steps.

1. Login to the GOOD Marketplace staking app here
2. Click “Start using staking 2.0” button

3. an information window will open and then press the “Let’s do it” button

4. Click “Confirm” button and then confirm transaction with your wallet. All three commands — unstake all, transfer all and claim rewards, will be done in this single transaction.

5. Once all GOOD tokens and rewards have been collected to your wallet, the new Staking 2.0 application will load automatically. You can then re-stake your GOOD tokens and continue earning ETH rewards.

180 day staking pool

The 180-day staking pool locks your GOOD tokens for 180 days and you cannot unstake or withdraw them during this period. You will earn ETH rewards for staking your GOOD tokens in this pool and you can claim your ETH rewards anytime during the lock period.

Why do we offer such service? This pool was created primarily for the purpose of minting the GOOD VIP Club membership NFT. If you stake at least 2,000,000 GOOD tokens and lock them in the 180 day pool, you will be eligible to mint your VIP Club membership NFT.

Here’s how to get your VIP Club membership NFT

1. stake at least 2,000,000 GOOD tokens in 180 days pool
2. Enter the amount of how much GOOD you want to stake. To get VIP Club membership NFT you need to stake a minimum of 2,000,000 GOOD
3. Click the “Stake” button, confirm transaction in your wallet and that’s it, your GOOD tokens are staked in the 180 days pool.

4. You will earn ETH rewards for staking your GOOD tokens in this pool and you can claim your ETH rewards anytime during the lock period.

5. How to unstake your tokens. Once you have staked your tokens to the 180 days pool, you will not be able to unstake them until the lock is active. You can see the lock counter — remaining time to unlock your stake. When the remaining time is zero, the unstake button will become active and you will need to click it to unstake and claim your GOOD tokens.

Claim your GOOD VIP Club membership NFT

If you staked at least 2,000,000 GOOD tokens in 180 days pool, you become eligible to mint your VIP Club membership NFT. Here’s how.

1. Once you qualify for VIP Club membership, the “Claim VIP membership” button will be displayed.

2. Click the “Claim VIP membership” button to open the reward claim window, then click the “Claim” button to confirm. Then confirm transaction in your wallet. After the transaction is successfully completed, a confirmation window will be displayed.

Now the VIP Club membership NFT was minted and sent to your wallet. You can check it on Etherscan.

Flexible staking pool

Flexible staking pool allows you to unstake your GOOD tokens at any time. Please note that the Flexible staking pool has a 48 hour cool off period, which means that if you unstake your GOOD tokens, you will not be able to transfer them to your wallet until 48 hours after unstaking.

Stake to the flexible staking pool

1. Click the “Stake” button.
2. Staking window will open. Enter amount to stake or stake all GOOD in your wallet (“Stake all” button), then click “Stake” button and confirm transaction in your wallet.
3. Once the transaction has been processed, the confirmation window “Staked!” will be displayed.
4. You can claim your ETH rewards anytime during staking your GOOD tokens.

Unstake from the flexible staking pool

There is a 48 hour cool off period, which means that if you unstake your GOOD tokens, you will not be able to transfer them to your wallet until 48 hours after unstaking.

1. Click the “Unstake” button.
2. Unstake window will open. Enter amount to unstake or unstake all GOOD tokens (“Unstake all” button), then click “Unstake” button and confirm transaction in your wallet.

3. Once the transaction has been processed, the confirmation window “Unstaked!” with the cool off timer will be displayed.

4. After 48 hours cool off period you will be able to transfer your unstaked GOOD tokens to your wallet. Click “Transfer button”, confirm in the staking app and then confirm transaction in your wallet. Once the transaction has been processed, you can see your GOOD tokens in your wallet.
