Causes that Matter
One month ago GOOD Marketplace announced our first Open Call in conjunction with our partners Joyn, and set out to find the causes most important to our community. We received 182 entries, and were able to select 13 winners for the 2 ETH prize pool in Causes that Matter.
Causes represented in the finalists include:
- Violence against women
- LGBTQIA+ Youth, Trans rights
- Mental Health & Suicide Prevention
- Human Rights x 3
- Addiction Recovery x 2
- Hunger x 2
- Women & Girls x 2
- Arts & Culture
- Immigration & Refugees w/ sub categories Children & Youth; Disaster Response; Environment; Health & Medicine; Homelessness; Human Rights; Hunger; International Development; and Water & Hygiene
- Veterans & Mental Health
In just 13 entries we can already see how causes overlap with one another, and we can start to see certain causes repeating. This is the first showcase, and we are acquiring all the pieces listed.
Curated GOOD Causes
In addition we will go through all the causes that were submitted by the community, and extend invitations for curated showcases around all qualifying entries. This initiative is called Curated GOOD Causes. You will receive a badge on your profile, and be invited to list your submitted artwork, to the curated showcase around the cause you selected.
